Living on the Côte d’Azur

Not a shelf of listings — a family who moved here first, and now spend their days helping others work out what their own version of this coast could look like.

Not properties. Living.

Most Riviera agencies will show you what they have to sell. We start from a different question — where, on this coast, could your life actually feel like it belongs.

It’s the difference the company’s own name has quietly pointed at since 2006. The Riviera is wide enough to hold a working harbour in Saint-Tropez, a city that never stops for the season in Nice, and a wooded, guarded peninsula at Cap Ferrat — and the right part of it for you may not be the postcard you already have in mind.

Why work with us instead of an agency

We don’t sell our own listings. That’s rather the point.

01

We search across a network of local agents and developers on your behalf, rather than showing you only what one firm happens to hold.

02

The selling agent shares their commission with us in the standard case, which keeps the search free to you without narrowing what you’re shown.

03

Twenty years of relationships across the coast mean off-market introductions, not just what’s already public.

Who you’ll actually speak to

A two-generation family business, still doing the viewings themselves

Ab Kuijer

Founder, Buyer Advisor

Ab moved from Amsterdam to the Côte d'Azur in 2006, after a career as a journalist and radio and television producer. He founded Living on the Côte d'Azur the same year, and was later elected the first Dutch president of the British Chamber of Commerce on the French Riviera — since rebranded the Riviera Business Club. Twenty years on, he still takes clients through the search himself.

Jolanda Kuijer-Marinus

Owner, Buyer Advisor

Jolanda has lived in the South of France since 2006, having previously worked in the region's luxury yachting and hotel industry. She leads the interior design and styling side of the business, and is closely connected to design houses across Italy and Scandinavia — the person clients turn to once a property search becomes a home.

Feline Kuijer

Consultant, Ibiza & Portugal

Ab and Jolanda's daughter, and the second generation of the family business. Feline manages the Ibiza and Portugal side of the network, and brings a native fluency in how buyers now search — digitally, quickly, and from anywhere. She still prefers to make her own local visits in Nice.

Ab en Jolanda have helped us very well with the search for our holiday home in the Côte d'Azur. More than full service, always friendly, very quick answers to our questions, also in the weekends or evenings.

Absolutely first class from beginning to end. Jo helped me with everything. Attentiveness and kindness almost beyond the call of duty.
